Ots Turntables FreeOts Turntables Free from Ots Labs lets you use your computer and mouse to mix music like a DJ.

The controls are very similar to what you would find in hardware CD DJ units and let you scratch songs using your mouse, adjust tempo, play tracks backwards, and even add a warm vinyl-crackle sound. The controls let you manage your WAV, MP3, or CD track playlist. The program also includes Auto DJ mixing controls (great for parties) in addition to graphic equalizer and compression settings to help you get that mix sounding just right.

Audacity

Audacity

Looking for a good all-purpose audio editor? Audacity is an open-source, free audio editor that lets you record, play, convert, and edit audio files. You can convert file formats, edit sounds, mix tracks, and apply effects to your recordings. The program also features a built-in amplitude envelope editor, a customizable spectrogram mode, and a frequency analysis window. Built-in effects include Bass Boost, Wahwah, and Noise Removal, and the app also supports VST plug-in effects.

The 1.3.0b beta version offers improved performance for larger projects and has several new features such as the ability to expand and collapse tracks. However, we recommend using 1.2.4b for maximum stability.

Note: Some antispyware packages detect Audacity as containing Buddy Spy 2.2 spyware. This is a known false positive. According to the developer, the compressed Audacity executable happens to have some of the same byte-sequences as Buddy Spy 2.2, but it’s just a coincidence. See the developer’s Web site for details.

One of the cardinal rules in long trips or even short ones is to refrain from eating at Taco Bell or Taco Bueno. Anything fastfood that serves meals with bean in it. OMG! It will be a torture inside the vehicle! Imagine passing gas while the vehicle is moving. Worst if there’s traffic or the vehicle is at the stop light! Then imagine 5 people including yourself take turns farting. EEEeeeeeeewwwwww! What a day! hehehhe! talk about family bonding!!!  aaargggghhhh! gaaass mask pleeeaaassseee!!!farting

U.S. returns to standard time on Sunday

Associated Press

Autumn’s chill is in the air, and little ghosts and goblins are preparing to play trick-or-treat. It must be time to set the clocks back. Officially we will fall back to standard time at 2 a.m. Sunday, though most folks will change their clocks Saturday night.

This is the last time the change will come in October. Thanks to a law passed last year, daylight-saving time will start earlier and end later beginning in 2007. It will last from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November.

Some states and territories don’t observe daylight-saving time and won’t have to worry about changing their clocks. Those are Arizona, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam and the Northern Marianas.

Daylight-saving time returns next March 11.

LatchKey Kids

http://www.photius.com/feminocracy/home_alone_031019_nyt.html

Latchkey kid or Latchkey child refers to a child that returns from school to an empty home because their parents are away at work, or a child that is often left at home with little or no parental supervision.

This year pumasok na ang youngest namin. One time we had to take the SUV to the shop for check engine problem kaso problem-the other car namin is a stick-shift. Hindi sya marunong. So we decided to put her in the school bus. Syempre libre so why not! 1st day nya on the schoolbus she was sooo happy! Feeling nya big kid na sya. Kasi yung ibang mga kapatid nya nag-iis-schoolbus din tapos may sariling mga susi ng bahay kaya kahit wala kami doon or if my wife needs to do some errands they can get home.

Eto na, after dinner i always go straight dito sa computer to check my emails from work. I can hear my wife & my youngest one talking. Then my youngest one said something that I couldn’t help but laugh!

Mom? Can I have a house key?

I can hear my wife trying not to laugh and asking her why she needs it but of course my 4-year old couldn’t find the right words to explain herself. My wife walk here in my Soho and saw me almost falling down on my chair! ooohhh..priceless!

Pre-winter shopping at Target Stonebriar

Malaking bagay din ang mag-shopping ng libre. Bakit libre?

Take some typing classes

Kaya please people..mag-aral ng typing hangga’t bata pa kayo..
