Hello! thanks for stopping by!
Oks lang to read my blog kasi open naman. minsan nga i don't think twice of what i write here eh kita naman ng buong mundo. LOL!

Anyways, Tivo in the Philippines - will it work?
hmmm.. kung time shifting lang ang gusto mo it should work. NTSC standard naman ata dyan sa pinas kaya compatible ang tivo. I guess the new versions that's out there have the capability of Pal/NTSC.
kung direct recording lang i don't see any problem.

BUT

to get the full capability of Tivo kailangan mong ma-utilize your programming aspect ng tivo. So kailangan mong idownload ang program tv guide somehow.

Next problem would be the guide data specifically for the Philippines.
Kailangan ma-recognize nya ang Gagambino o Wowowee schedule para ma-set mo to record.

Initial research ko on the web i saw some message post about hacking the guide pero by now mayron na sigurong nakagawa non.
I'll try to research this topic tapos post ko dito sa blog ko.

hi! i was browsing the web and trying to get more info about the TIVO when I came across your blog.
I hope you dont mind me browsing your personal blog.
I just want to ask if TIVO DVR works here in the philippines? Sayang naman if i buy one pero its not applicable here diba?. Does it have anything to do with cable? or is it directly connected to an internet connection?
pasensya na sa abala ha, hope you can give me a reply.
thanks.
