The last time I ran the Windows 7 advisor it choked on my 700+ megs memory with a couple of outdated drivers.  So main concern was the memory requirement. Ran to Fry’s Elec. and scored me a 2 gig ddr 400mhz Dual kit for $70+ (don’t you just love instant gratification at a premium?)

Now running the custom installation – clean installation to be exact.

It was supposed to prompt me for a x32 and x64 installation but just saw a x86 installation. well I guess that would be it since my old computer is still on a Duron 1.2 processor!

It’s currently on the second stage right now..lot more step to go..hope it won’t be too painful…

Woot! woot! Got my 1st ipod this christmas!

Do you need to find out if your ipod touch is a 2nd generation or 3rd generation?
The late 2009 Ipod touch 3rd generation can be identified by looking at the back of the ipod touch.  All iPod touch 3rd generation have 2 or 3 lines of text below the capacity engraving.

The prior iPod touch 2nd generation had four lines of text of more below the capacity engraving.

Even though I’m still drooling over my new iPod touch I still hate typing on this thing!

My blackberry email service stop around 7:39am this morning of December 17, 2009 but apparently the RIM BIS server had been having issues since Wed Dec 16, 2009 late night. Some of my emails were delayed. To this minute they are still trying to resolve the problem.
This blackberry down time only affects BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) but not the corporate customers that uses the Blackberry Enterprise Service (BES)
Blackberry Enterprise Service connects thru their own corporate server with an add-on software to link to their email system such as Microsoft Exchange Server.
Blackberry Internet Service connects thru the Internet service that blackberry host on their server.

So now I am having a bb withdrawal syndrome! aaarrrggghhhhh!!!!

I was too eager to upgrade my version of Coppermine that I just totally ignored all the notice and disclaimers that the upgrade is just a beta and not a production release. So typical of me. Jump in the task and RTFM later.
So, I had to disable the registration on my photo gallery for the meantime and if you really need to access it-just let me know via a post here or an email.
