Call centers in the Philippines

I think I still baffle the call center agents everytime I ended a call with ’salamat po’. Makes them wonder how I can identify them that they are pinoys.
Who else can pronouce my last name right but pinoys! lolz!

Subconjunctival hemorrhage

That is the word for the day. Actually Subconjunctival hemorrhage is my word of the month! Had to go thru this twice in a row last week. I have to keep a close eye on my food intakes since I read that there are a lot of factors that might cause the blood vessels in my eyes to burst like that and goes away in about 1 week.
Interesting to know that high salt diet can contribute to high blood pressure.

weird dream last night

dreamt of being with co-workers inside a classroom. we saw 3 fishes. 2 of them looks like a pair and 1 small fry and they were swimming not on water but on air..not floating but swimming on air… I recognized 1 and noticed it looks like a piranha and confirmed it when it bit a passing tuna into half..i grabbed a net, jump and scooped down that piranha and put it in a bucket with water.
next frame..looking for the piranha in the bucket..saw it barely moving on the floor and a little dirty..apparently the janitor took his mop and tried to kill that piranha…picked up the piranha looking at it closely while its grasping for breath..
then i woke up…

blackberry 9700 on hand-no flash support!?!

One of the reason we upgraded to the new blackberries is that flash support they were talking about in their specs.

Media Player

  • Video format support: XviD partially supported, H.263, H.264, WMV3, MPEG4, Sorenson Spark & On2 VP6 (Flash support)
  • Audio format support: .3gp, MP3, WMA9 (.wma/.asf), WMA9 Pro / WMA 10, MIDI, AMR-NB, Professional AAC/AAC+/eAAC+

but after reading a couple of articles out from the web it looks like they haven’t come up with the software to play those damn flash videos!!!  sucks!

HP Pavillion DX6500 DVD drive removal/replacement tips

Faced with a stuck dvd drive button I need to find out how to remove the whole dvd drive unit from the HP Pavillion dc6500 laptop.

I  scoured the net and found this wonderful and helpful website filled with laptop tips!

hp pavillion dx6500 dvd drive removal image

the instructions stated to remove the single screw holding the dvd drive and all you have to do is pull it out gently.

So after I removed the dvd drive pushed the plastic tabs (CAREFULLY!) that holds the front cover of the dvd drive and it released the stucked button.

Then just put everything back together and you are done!
