My blackberry email service stop around 7:39am this morning of December 17, 2009 but apparently the RIM BIS server had been having issues since Wed Dec 16, 2009 late night. Some of my emails were delayed. To this minute they are still trying to resolve the problem.
This blackberry down time only affects BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) but not the corporate customers that uses the Blackberry Enterprise Service (BES)
Blackberry Enterprise Service connects thru their own corporate server with an add-on software to link to their email system such as Microsoft Exchange Server.
Blackberry Internet Service connects thru the Internet service that blackberry host on their server.
So now I am having a bb withdrawal syndrome! aaarrrggghhhhh!!!!
