Site content migration coming slow but sure(?)

Did a lot of things on the new site structure. The Images page is done and wrapped with the Joomla interface. Had to use a different template just for that particular page. come to think of it, that images page actually looks better than the regular pages. I just can’t make up my mind right now which template I should stick to. Kung pwede nga lang lahat na! But I’ll go with the voting poll. Crap..then I have to set that up too. Also i feel uneasy about my webhost PHP setting. Maybe I’ll forward my domain to another host that’s more accomodating with the required security features that my new website platform is asking for.
Also, there’s the issue about screen resolution. I wonder how many surfers out there are still using the 800 screen resolution? I have my setting to the highest possible resolution. Dito sa bahay i had it set for 1280 x 1024. I’m also thinking of modifying the CSS to at least 1024 pixels wide. I feel so cramped with the current 800 resolution. But if we have to stay compatible across the board I guess I have to stick with it…for the meantime!

Coppermine PG re-installed (3x) & now working!!!

Yeehheeeyy!! Part 2!! Maybe it when I installed Gallery it also installed some critical files that Coppermine is looking for. I think one of the files it need is that ImageMagick for producing thumbnails. See…when I’m browsing around Gallery it looks just like a regular photo album compared to Coopermine I thought that Gallery is just a regular photo album but looking deeper they have some themes that you can configure to make your Gallery show the way you like it. In regards to Coppermine, I like the category features of Coopermine. Right now I have been ftp’ing the files into the server then I’ll sort them out into whatever category that I need to create. When I first installed CPG it chokes whenever I do a browser upload. It gives me an server error 500. That’s why I had to call NetSols service rep. Also when I do a batch add ins the thumbnails doesn’t show on some of the pics. I’m still in the dark what happened but I’m just glad that it’s working.

Please Register in my Zeenanoko Photo Gallery!

Now..if only i can get that Joomla to stop reporting that error…

Stand back & think..

Just got off the phone with one of NetSol’s service rep and they informed me na hindi raw pwedeng iset yung php register (secret) to (secret). Paano na yan? Ito pa naman ang 1st Host na pinag-umpisahan ko. Ska I need to stand back and look at this whole crap that I’m doing and layout a plan kung saan ko i-po-point.

Then again think about the ImageCafe ng NetSol. Very restrictive pa rin.

WeatherIcon

Installed this little widget today and suppose to give all kinds of weather info.  I just now discover this world of WordPress plugins and I have to restrain myself cuz’ I just want to install all that I can find!
