I am at it again! still trying to figure out how to transfer my joomla site to a different host with more security features.

I have overcome the mysql problems and have successfully restored my database to the new host. (that was after 5 tries and 2 movie breaks)

found out what the new hosting place absolute path is (use HELP in control panel..jezzzz…)

got a hint to edit the cfg file to recognize the new setting..

after a couple of hours…

well..the whole damn thing finally worked! exact duplicate of my main site! yes!  And the freakin’ error message doesn’t show up on the backend menu.  The help instructions in the joomla forum actually works.  It just looks simple now that I have done and gone over it. Now I’ll try to play around on the wordpress & coppermine port over. maybe next month or so…

Dumating na ang sulat galing sa dental insurance ko regarding the decision kung babayaran nila yung pagkakapalit ng porcelain crown ko na tinanggal noong Feb 21 dahil pinasok ng cavity yung loob noon kasi yung inutil na dental clinic na una kong pinuntahan ay talagang inutil. Yung pagkakainstall pa lang ng crown ko noon feel ko palpak.

So itong bagong dentista namin mukhang magaling..well talagang magaling. kasi naayos nya yung crack sa ipin ko.

Anyways, akala ko noong hinihintay ko itong decision letter ng insurance ako ang magiging liable sa buong bayad pero sinuwerte pa rin at naawa ata yung nag-review ng claim at pinagbigyan na rin ako. Haay salamat naman..kung hindi halos anim na anda rin yun!

Bad trip! Sunday afternoon drive turned out to be depressing. Eh paano ba naman natikitan na naman for the second time!
 Noted sa summon ticket ‘ran a stop sign’. And daya ng lespyak na yun. Eh huminto naman ako eh! Yun nga lang hindi full stop. Nag glide lang ako kung baga eh slight stop. Ngek! mayroon bang slight stop?

Tangna naman! Bayad na naman sa municipal court yan!!! Mahina $100 para sa moving violation na ito. Putris talaga.
Ska this time aminado talaga ako na kasalanan ko. Talagang nag nag-aabang yung alagad ng korte para makaipon ng quota nila. Ahhh busit talaga!
Sa kakatipid ko sa ibang bagay sa wala lang mapupunta ang pinag iipunan ko? Leche!!

 Kaya sa inis ko napa punta tuloy ako sa Best Buy at bumili ng Western Digital Passport USB Portable Hard Drive (120GB 2.5-inch, 3.5 in width, 5.7 in depth, 0.8 in height). 
Inisip ko na lang na bumili ako ng isang bagay na mataas ang presyo. At least medyo nabawasan ang depression ko that day…

Last week walmart open their doors for it’s grand opening. Construction was pretty fast and a lot of people in my area has been anticipating walmart’ opening cuz the nearest one is like 10 miles away. My wife is one of them cuz she said its way more cheaper than the local groceries.

A couple more stores are still under construction around the area which contributes to the improvement of our town growth-wise.
I still remember the first time we moved to our home we were thinking that our area looks like the boonies!

Finally got around posting this entry which was sitting in my blackberry notes for more than 4 months!  Well that’s one done in my list of unfinished business! 090507

On my way home from work I was trying to access one of my website using the blackberry internet. I noticed some hiccups in the system. Sometimes it loads the whole page but error started popping up. The first thing that came to my mind-virus! My blackberry’s infected!
I got home and started getting comfy and also noticed that my blackberry doesn’t beep that much..that is to notify me if an email just came in… The emails slowly came into a halt by 10pm which at that time I was already freakin out! Kept on sending myself emails after emails just to check if that damn thing works but no luck.
All the while I was blaming myself for somehow breaking my blackberry and now I can’t get any emails! Kasi before those things started happening I was adding another email profile into my BB then it started acting wierd.
By next morning I was determined to erase all data on my BB and re-provisioned it (Cingular terminology jargon for setting it up!) Did that and tried logging in the BB internet service. Wait… Can’t log in….call cingular rep…recording…damn! It said all blackerry access is down since last night! Crap! It wasn’t me!! Oh well..life sucks…
So with further research I found out that Research In Motion, the company that gave us this wonderful blackberry devices, was having some issues with their network. It was a major disaster! All those crackberry addicts were without a fix for a day!
RIM blames it on some coding error. Don’t want to pursue it any longer. My blackberry works now. That’s all I care.

Easter weekend at saka hanggang ngayon may sinat pa rin. Kahapon nag-workout pa rin ako dahil lalo lang akong magkakasakit kung iindahin ko ng husto itong lagnat ko. Katuwiran ko kung nagawa kong pumasok sa work kaya ko rin pumunta doon sa workout ko. Ska read somewhere na if you feel sick neck up oks lang. Pero kung neck down-rest ka muna.

Eh paano ang multiple symptoms? …. hala! patay na kung patay!
Hirap kasi masyadong kong inaalanalyze lahat ng kinakain ko. Tapos napra-praning pa ako sa mga nararamdaman ko. Lahat na lang ng sakit ko feeling ko cancer. Lahat na lang ng paninikip ng dibdib ko - heart related kahit pulled muscles lang dahil sa kawalan ng exercise dati.
Pero sa tutoo lang feel kong i-review ang life insurance ko. Term pa naman yun. Kailangan ata instant dedo ako bago makapag-claim? Ngeeee…ano ba yan!!

It’s easter and its so freakin’ cold! This is the only time I can force my daughters to wear dresses to church since they always like to wear jeans but now I don’t have an excuse.
Yesterday the high temp was 39f!! I myself haven’t been feeling well since yesterday. Woke up with a feeling that I’m getting a cold. Managed to shake it off on my saturday workout but come late afternoon it was downhill from then on.
I blame it on sudden climate changes. And old age kahit na wala pa akong 50s!
All day yesterday I just sat on the couch and rested. I was subjected to a couple of wowowee reruns. My wife just get a kick out of that show.

Pinauwi kami ng maaga today in the spirit of good friday. Buti na lang at christiano ang amo ko. Alas-tres ang time talaga na pinauwi kami pero dahil sipsip-higop-vacumn ako nag stay ako hanggang 4pm. Ska hiniram kasi ng may-ari yung susi ko para doon sa isang suite namin eh nakakabit doon ang susi ng koste ko kaya hindi ako maka-alis! May kausap pa sa phone kaya nag-sign language na lang ako para makuha ko.
Anyways, nakauwi naman ako ng bago mag-alas sinko kaya oks na rin. Inabutan ko ang jowa ko na nanonood ng D’Lucky Ones sa Tfc. Aliw na aliw ba naman… sabi ko ‘hoy! biyernes santo ngayon…araw ng pagtitika..’ (ano nga ba ibig sabihin non..?)

In other news nag-upgrade na ako sa latest version ng Wordpress 2.1.3 kasi nabubwiset na ako sa spam comments. Limang sunod-sunod na spam comments ang natanggap ko kaya letche!! upgrade ko nga ito..tingnan natin kung matigas pa sila…
