Blog Ni Nano

Just got back from buying some fireworks for the new year celebration.  This time Jeff & I went to the factory outlet to get a little discount compared to the highway shacks and tents that charges a premium price.  So far our total bill all together comes up to almost $400.  That’s more than double than what we spent last year!  So I guess that my way of greeting the new year and thanking the previous for a good year.

I also learned that the rockets on a stick (kwitis) are banned here in Texas so they are selling those at bargain prices. Got a couple of them eventhough we’re not sure if we can shoot them at Bossier.  Most of the arsenal that we are bringing for aerial displays.  Still couldn’t get a hold of a broken hairdrier to salvage the nichrome wire that I need to setup my electronic igniter.  I have been planning to do that for the past 3 years and still I always forgot to follow up on it after the new year.  I know there’s a lot of those broken ones at any Goodwill stores where they sell em for less than $5.  too late to order them online.  Maybe I should planned this ahead of time for 2009.

Still have a lot of leftover food from Christmas (Noche Buena) and from the goodies that I took home from work.  Hopefully we get it all finished up after new year.

Nandito ako…sa primacare. Naghihintay for 2 hours daw ang waiting time. Daming tao ang may sakit. Last ganito din ako. Nagka flu ako in the holiday season. Siguro bawi sa sobrang stress before the upcoming holidays. 4 days lang ang days off namin pero maraming nag file ng bakasyon nila for the year end.
Syempre isa ako sa mga martir na super higop kaya hindi ako nagbabakasyon. Oks lang. Pero siguro eto ang payback. Stress na masyado ang katawan ko sa sobrang pagod at kaiisip ng mga work related issues.

Kumpleto na ata ang mga pamasko pwera lang ang para sa mga inaanak at mga pamangkin.  Na-gets ko na rin yung inaasam-asam ng mga junakis ko na laruan.  Kinailangan ko pang paganahin ang mga connections ko para lang mapasakamay ko ang elusive na laruan na yun. Saka ko na babanggitin ang pangalan dahil baka mabasa pa ang panganay ko eh medyo marunong mag-tagalog yun.

Anyways..just wanted to keep the flow going..I still have a couple of post in my Blackberry 8310 that I need to transfer over.  Minsan kasi pag nasa Mall or kaya naghihintay ko saan pag-jo-jot down ako ng mga updates para dito sa aking blog.

Went to check out this oriental place down at legacy and central.

The grocery is not that big compared to carrollton plaza supermarket. They have a nice setup. A couple of asian eatery on the surrounding. Had lunch at Pho Que Hong and of course ordered the favorite beef stew with noodles with matching pork bbq sandwich.
Went inside the grocery and got a couple of munchies and bought some red bean cakes where an old taiwanese man cooks them at a stall next to the deli where you can buy a buffet for $5 On the way out we stop by the bakery. It looks the same like the one in May Hua Plano but I think a little more in the expensive side.  And the bakery at Plano really looks and is fresh since the oven and the store are all in one area.

Anyways, I wasn’t really impress about the setup in Legacy, got me confused on the way they arranged the merchandise. Pero hey! another place to do your munchies needs!

xmas shop
Our annual shopping trip to the mall. Actually we are shopping a few days earlier cuz’ our office party is next week so got to get those presents!Started off by getting out of the house around 7am and got inside jc penney after a couple of minutes. The mall shops are still closed so we hop over macy’s to bought some work clothes for myself.

Tis’ the season to be jolly…xmas or some people call it year end bonus time!  This is the time when you have all the rights and reason to buy those things that are in your wanted list BUT not necessarily in you NEED list. Which makes me a little bit sad..I can’t think of anything that I WANT!
